Therapeutic Indications

• The Product is recommended for use to treat the following:
• To treat active duodenal ulcers (ulcers in your intestine) gastric ulcer, peptic ulcer
• To treat and to prevent gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• In combination with appropriate antibacterial therapeutic regimens, to remove the bacterium Helicobacter pylori in patients with peptic ulcer disease
• In patients whose stomachs may contain extremely high amounts of acid, a condition called Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome

Usage Directions

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

Precautions & Warnings

• Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
• Avoid exposing to sun too much while taking this medicine
• Due to have a specific blood test (Chromogranin A)
• If you are allergic to RABEPRAZOLE 20 MG
• If you ever had a skin reaction
• If you ever had liver problems
• If you have a stomach tumor
• If you have risk of osteoporosis

Indicated Side Effects

• Weakness (asthenia) or flu-like symptoms
• Infections
• Back pain
• Difficulty sleeping (insomnia), headache, dizziness
• Stomach upsets
• Cough, runny nose (rhinitis) or sore throat (pharyngitis)
• Abnormal liver function test results
• Feeling nervous
• Chills or fever
• Sleepiness or drowsiness
• Chest pain
• Chest infection (bronchitis)
• Bladder infection (urinary tract infection)
• Painful and blocked sinuses (sinusitis)
• Fracture of the hip, wrist or spine
• Dry mouth
• Muscle pain, leg cramps or joint pain
• Indigestion or belching
• Skin rash or redness of the skin
• Severe skin reactions, blistering of the skin, mouth, eyes and genitals
• Allergic reactions such as sudden swelling of your face, difficulty breathing or low blood pressure which may cause fainting or collapse
• Weight gain
• Sore throat or high temperature (fever), or ulcers in your mouth or throat
• Sweating
• Bruising or bleeding easily
• Itchy rash or blistering skin
• Changes in white blood cells
• Liver or kidney problems
• Reduction in blood platelets
• Taste disturbance
• Loss of appetite (anorexia)
• Inflammation of the stomach or mouth
• Depression
• Visual disturbance
• Breast swelling in men
• Low blood levels of sodium such as tiredness and confusion, muscle twitching, fits and coma (Hyponatremia)
• Swelling in the limbs
• Confusion

Interactions

• Please inform your doctor if you have recently consumed or are consuming any of the below mention medicine:
• Methotrexate (a chemotherapy medicine used in high doses to treat cancer)
• Atazanavir (used to treat HIV-infection)
• Ketoconazole or itraconazole (medicines used for treatment of fungal infections)

Storage Condition

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or as mentioned on Product/Label.
