Usage Directions
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.
Precautions & Warnings
Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
Have AIDS/HIV
Are allergic to domperidone or any of the other ingredients of CLIBSUM 10/20MG
Have a problem that gives you a low level of potassium or magnesium, or a high level of potassium in your blood
Have black, tarry bowel motions (stools) or notice blood in your bowel motions
Have heart problem called "prolonged QT corrected interval"
Have a blockage or tear in your intestines
Have a moderate or severe liver or kidney disease
Have a tumour of the pituitary gland called a prolactinoma
Indicated Side Effects
Uncontrolled movements.
Swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, face, lips or throat which may cause difficulty in swallowing or breathing
Itchy, lumpy rash (hives) or nettle rash (urticaria)
Yellow skin, dark urine and tiredness which can be symptoms of liver problems
Dry mouth
Benign polyps in the stomach
Headache
Nausea or vomiting
Effects on your stomach or gut: diarrhoea, stomach pain, constipation, wind (flatulence)
A general feeling of weakness
Anxiety
Painful or tender breasts, or discharge from breasts
Loss of interest in sex or diminished interest in sex
Rash or itchiness
Sleepiness or headache
Diarrhoea
Generally feeling unwell and lacking energy
Swelling of the feet and ankles
Skin rash, lumpy rash (hives) and itchy skin
Disturbed sleep (insomnia)
Changes in blood tests that check how the liver is working
Spinning feeling (vertigo)
Increased sweating
Increased sweating
Severe kidney problems (interstitial nephritis)
Low levels of sodium in the blood
Joint pains (arthralgia) or muscle pains (myalgia)
Skin rash on exposure to sunshine
Hair loss (alopecia)
An inflammation of the inside of the mouth
Dry mouth
Suddenly feeling wheezy or short of breath (bronchospasm)
Eyesight problems such as blurred vision
Taste changes
Feeling agitated, confused or depressed
Enlarged breasts in men
Changes in blood count including agranulocytosis (lack of white blood cells)
Muscle weakness
Seeing, feeling or hearing things that are not there (hallucinations)
Sudden onset of a severe rash or blistering or peeling skin. this may be associated with a high fever and joint pains (erythema multiforme, stevens-johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis)
Severe liver problems leading to liver failure and inflammation of the brain
Interactions
Erlotinib (used to treat cancer)
Anti-fungal, specifically oral Ketoconazole, Fluconazole or Voriconazole, Itraconazole, Posaconazole
Clopidogrel (used to prevent blood clots (thrombi))
Certain antibiotics such as Clarithromycin, Telithromycin, Moxifloxacin, Pentamidine
Cilostazol (used to treat intermittent claudication)
Amiodarone, Digoxin, Dronedarone, Quinidine, Disopyramide, Dofetilide, Sotalol, Diltiazem, Verapamil, used in the management of heart condition
Tacrolimus (in cases of organ transplantation)
Haloperidol, Pimozide, Sertindole
Saquinavir, Atazanavir (used to treat HIV infection)
Cisapride, Dolasetron, Prucalopride
Rifampicin (used to treat tuberculosis)
Mequitazine, Mizolastine
Medicines used to thin the blood, such as warfarin or other vitamin K blockers.
Diazepam (used to treat anxiety, relax muscles or in epilepsy)
Phenytoin (used in epilepsy)
Storage Condition
