The Product is recommended for use to treat the following:
To treat Zollinger-Ellison-Syndrome
For reducing the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It is used for treating acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine
In stomach and duodenal ulcers
In reflux oesophagitis. An inflammation of your oesophagus caused by stomach acids
To treat infection with a bacterium called Helicobacter pylori in patients with duodenal and stomach ulcers in combination with two antibiotics
Usage Directions
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.
Precautions & Warnings
Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
Are due to have a specific blood test (Chromogranin A)
Are allergic to pantoprazole or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Get a rash on your skin, especially in areas exposed to the sun tell your doctor as soon as you can, as you may need to stop your treatment with Pantoprazole. Remember to also mention any other ill-effects like pain in your joints
Are allergic to medicines containing other proton pump inhibitors
Have ever had a skin reaction after treatment with a medicine like Pantoprazole that reduces stomach acid
Your Vitamin B12 deficient
Indicated Side Effects
Yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes (severe damage to liver cells, jaundice) or fever, rash, and enlarged kidneys sometimes with painful urination, and lower back pain (serious inflammation of the kidneys), possibly leading to kidney failure
Allergic reactions marked by swelling of the tongue and/or throat, difficulty in swallowing, hives (nettle rash), difficulties in breathing, allergic facial swelling, severe dizziness with very fast heartbeat and heavy sweating
Skin conditions marked by blistering of the skin and rapid deterioration of your general condition, erosion (including slight bleeding) of eyes, nose, mouth/lips or genitals, and sensitivity to light

Fracture in the hip, wrist or spine, increase in liver enzymes
Headache, dizziness
Sleep disorders

Itching, feeling weak, exhausted or generally unwell
Constipation
Dry mouth, exanthema, eruption
Sharp drop in circulating granular white blood cells
Distortion or complete lack of the sense of taste
Increased fat levels in blood
Blurred vision
Breast enlargement in males, increase in bilirubin
Weight changes
Depression
Swelling of the extremities (peripheral oedema)
Coexisting abnormal reduction in the number of red and white blood cells, as well as platelets
Disorientation, reduction in the number of blood platelets, which may cause you to bleed or bruise more than normal
A reduction in the number of white blood cells, which may lead to more frequent infections
Interactions
Please inform your doctor if you have recently consumed or are consuming any of the below mention medicine:
(Hypericum perforatum) (used to treat mild depression)
Medicines used to treat fungal infections or used for certain types of cancer
Rifampicin (used to treat infections)
Atazanavir
Fluvoxamine (used to treat depression and other psychiatric diseases)
Warfarin and phenprocoumon, which affect the thickening, or thinning of the blood
Methotrexate (used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and cancer)
Storage Condition
Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or as mentioned on Product/Label.
