Therapeutic Indications

• The Product is recommended for use to treat the following:
• Ofloxacin 200mg Tablet is an antibiotic, used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia). It cures the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms.
• Ofloxacin 200mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.

Usage Directions

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your Doctor. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

Precautions & Warnings

• Please consult your doctor before consuming this medicine, in case of:
• Do not take ofloxacin if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby. If you conceive while taking ofloxacin, stop taking it immediately and inform your doctor.
• Ofloxacin can pass into the breast milk and harm the child. Hence do not breast feed while you are on this medicine treatment.

Indicated Side Effects

• anxiety
• black, tarry stools
• bleeding gums
• blood in the urine or stools
• blurred vision
• body aches or pain
• continuing ringing or buzzing or other unexplained noise in the ears
• convulsions
• decrease in frequency of urination
• decrease in urine volume
• decreased hearing or any change in hearing
• difficult or painful urination
• difficulty in passing urine (dribbling)
• Along with its needed effects, ofloxacin may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
• Abdominal or stomach pain
• cloudy urine
• cold sweats
• Burning while urinating
• burning, crawling, itching, numbness, prickling, "pins and needles", or tingling feelings
• chest pain
• chills

Storage Condition

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight or as mentioned on Product/Label.
